I cannot believe I have already been here a month. Sometimes it feels like I've been here a year and others just a few days. Tomorrow I start my fourth week of school and I'm starting to get into the groove of things. I'm really enjoying my kids and just the general atmosphere at Lincoln. Yesterday I got to see a little more of Mexico when I went to Tlaquepaque with my roomates. It was a really cool artsy town with lost of crafty things. We spent the afternoon there and today all I have done is go to church, work on school stuff, and do laundry. In a few weeks I get a long weekend because of Mexico's Independence Day (September 16) and I am going on a trip. Hopefully I will remember to take pictures and post! That's all for now :).
A combination of grace, redemption, and Mexico.
What this is about....
I decided to start a blog to detail everything that is happening in my life. This past spring I graduated with my Master's in Education and took a job teaching 4th grade in Guadalajara, Mexico. Not only is this my first year teaching, I am moving to Mexico! So for anyone interested I'll be posting what's going on in my life and I'm sure there will be some interesting stories!!

where's the trip gonna be? :) glad to hear you're really enjoying your time there! God's plans are so pretty! hehe. i also read your post about how encouraging it is for teachers and admin to be constantly encouraging you with Scripture, and i have to say thats pretty freakin awesome. it would be great if the teachers here did that...heh in my dreams. anyway, i hope we can talk soon. maria wants to skype with you too. i'll send you a facebook message, so we can set up a time. peace!
