I'm finally here! I left Knoxville this morning on a 6am flight and after a layover in Houston I got to Guadalajara around 11:40am local time. Thankfully I didn't have any problems with customs and right as I excited I saw the girls that came to pick me up! It was so nice not to have to take a taxi! They drove me to the Casa Grande (Big House) and showed me my room (pics to come once I have finished fixing it up). I spent most of the afternoon unpacking and we made a trip to Walmart later on for groceries. Right now I am sitting on my bed listening to the storm outside and smelling the dinner some of the girls are making for everyone. That's all for now. More to come when I start work!
A combination of grace, redemption, and Mexico.
What this is about....
I decided to start a blog to detail everything that is happening in my life. This past spring I graduated with my Master's in Education and took a job teaching 4th grade in Guadalajara, Mexico. Not only is this my first year teaching, I am moving to Mexico! So for anyone interested I'll be posting what's going on in my life and I'm sure there will be some interesting stories!!
