So this is my first blog post but I am still in the States. This is more of an introduction so those of you interested will know where to look if you want to know what's going on with me. I am currently planning and preparing for my upcoming move to Mexico. Not only do I have to pack clothes but supplies for my first year of teaching...so we will see what I end up with when I get there.
I'll be working at a Christian in Guadalajara teaching 4th grade. I'm living in a house called the Casa Grande, or Big House with other single women teachers. I'll have my own room and it's only a couple of blocks away from the school.
I will be leaving August 6th from Tri-Cities airport. Hopefully I will arrive in Mexico around lunchtime and will have the rest of Saturday and Sunday to finish my room and get accustomed before orientation starts. Classes actually begin August 15th.
That's all I can think of for now but I'll try to keep this updated. If you have any specific questions just leave a comment and I'll try to get back to you.

So glad to become a 'follower' of your blog! Tried to post this last night, but not sure where it went...if you get two from me, just consider it double best wishes on your new teaching adventure. Many blessings and I look forward to living 'vicariously' as a teacher again through your eyes... =)
